CUSTOMER INSTRUCTIONS

1. Choose Your Paint Colours

• Select shades using the cupcake sample paint wall— the cupcakes reflect the final kiln-fired result.

2. Paint Application

• Wipe your pottery with the provided sponge before painting.

• Apply 3 thin paint coats, letting each layer dry for about 5 minutes before adding the next coat of paint.

• Use only the provided paint — other paints (e.g., acrylic or metallic) will burn off in the kiln and damage your piece.

3. Tools & Cleanup

• Please leave paint bottles on the shelf so others can share.

• Please don’t clean brushes in the sink— use water bowls on your table to avoid clogging drains.

4. Get Creative

• Feel free to use stamps, stencils, lace, or fun writers.

• Keep fun-writer lids on; if clogged, use the pin provided or ask for help.

5. Labeling & Guest Sheet

• Sign your name or initials on the bottom of your piece with our pottery paint — pen or pencil won’t survive the kiln.

• Please fill out the provided guest sheet at your table completely. This tracks your painted pottery. Please DO NOT take your guest sheet with you. Leave it with your pottery at your table.

6. Table Etiquette

• Please leave brushes flat on the table, not in the water bowl — we’ll handle the cleanup.

7. Pickup & Storage

• Your pottery will be kiln-fired and ready in 10 days.

• We are a small, cozy studio with limited space. We can only hold pieces for up to 3 weeks — please pick them up within this timeframe. Thank you for understanding.

• Reminder calls aren’t made, so be sure to mark your calendar.

8. Questions? Just Ask!

• If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re always here to help.

Happy painting!
