CUSTOMER INSTRUCTIONS

Choose your paint colours by looking at the cupcake samples on the paint wall. The cupcakes show how the paint colours will appear after firing.

Apply 3 thin coats of paint, letting each coat dry for about five minutes before adding the next coat of paint.

Please use the paint pallet provided. A little paint goes a long way.

Leave paint bottles on the paint wall shelving so everyone can share.

Only use the pottery paint we provide. Other paints (including acrylic or metallic) will burn off in the kiln and may damage your piece.

Please do not pour or glob paint inside your piece. The paint will not stick after firing and will leave bare spots.

Before painting, wipe your pottery with the sponge to remove any dust.

Do not clean brushes or tools in the sinks. This will clog the drains. Kindly use the water bowls at your table.

You may use stamps, stencils, lace, and fun writers to make your piece special. Keep lids on fun writers. If clogged, please use the pins provided or ask us for help.

Paint your name, initials, or a small design on the bottom of your piece so we can identify it. Do not use pencil or pen; they will burn off in the kiln. Only use our pottery paint.

Fill out the provided guest sheet at your table completely. This tracks your painted pottery. Please DO NOT take your guest sheet with you. Leave it with your pottery at your table.

When done, please leave everything at your table. We will clean up for you. Lay brushes flat on the table, not in the water bowl.

Your pottery will be ready for pickup in 10 days. Reminder calls will not be made, so please plan to return after 10 days to pick up your finished pottery piece.

We are a small, cozy studio with limited space. We can only hold your pottery for 3 weeks. Thank you for understanding.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re always here to help.

Happy pottery painting!
